This NiMH 2100 mAh battery proivdes more talk-time per shift and is less prone to memory effect. IMPRES batteries when used with an IMPRES charger provide automatic, adaptive reconditioning, end-of-life display, and other advanced features. Data is stored in the battery and communicated to the charger via a unique IMPRES communication protocol which is designed to maximize talk-time and optimize battery cycle life — all automatically.

This is the most common battery for the XTS2500 Series.

    These were purchased for our local volunteer firefighters. I consider their walkie talkies a matter of safety above all else. These were to replace old batteries from some used walkie talkies they were donated by another fire company, so a great battery was essential. Upon receipt they charged all the batteries for a full 24 hrs. Wow, 2 days later they still have a charge! We felt it was extremely important to get "real" Motorola batteries not knockoffs. Well worth the effort of finding this company that offers a great product for a great price. Oh and can I mention the 2 day ship was ridiculously impressive! I no more than placed my order and it was at my door. Highly recommend product and company! Our firefighters are very grateful as well!
